Beyond Research
Technology is a tool—what matters is what we build with it and who benefits. I apply the same rigor to community impact as I do to production systems: measurable outcomes, sustainable approaches, and a clear-eyed view of what actually helps people.
Technology is only as good as the people it serves and the communities that build it.
My PhD research directly addresses climate change through power grid optimization. I believe AI researchers have a responsibility to work on problems that matter for our collective future.
From leading developer communities in India to mentoring in Canada, I've seen how inclusive spaces can unlock potential. Everyone deserves access to tech education.
Volunteering with food security initiatives reminds me that technology isn't the only way to make a difference. Sometimes it's about showing up and delivering a meal.
Engaging with democratic institutions and advocating for evidence-based policy.
Bishop's University, Sherbrooke, QC
Participant (2024) → Quebec National Assembly Delegate → Coach (2025)
Selected to participate in the Bishop's Forum, a provincial civic leadership institute for English-speaking youth that offers immersive exploration of Quebec's democratic institutions and public policy processes. The experience developed my leadership, public policy awareness, and civic engagement skills.
Presented before a Parliamentary Commission, contributing youth-driven ideas on workplace equity and AI bias in hiring—demonstrating skills in research, public speaking, and policy advocacy.
Selected to spend a day at the Quebec National Assembly, engaging in dialogue with Ministers about current societal and governance issues—deepening understanding of decision-making at the highest provincial level.
In the subsequent edition, selected as a Coach where I mentored incoming participants, supported team leadership, and helped guide another successful cycle of civic engagement and presentations.
